You've got to do a lot of needless leveling in Green Gardens, which is hard because you don't yet have a hammer capable of breaking up the Umber blocks (but you get an upgrade in Khrumbul-dun.) ![]() Both Scarlet Sands and Cerulean Steppe are flatter and would have made for better farming areas. You can work down those bonus tablet targets as you do (but you can't complete all them just yet.) You can head off to Khrumbul-dun once you've finished as many as you feel like doing at the moment.Īgree that Green Gardens is not ideally suited for your first building area. A small farm, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and a few bedrooms and toilets would help get you started with a solid food and gratitude supply. Its not a bad idea to build up Green Gardens a little bit before going to Khrumbul-dun. ![]() But unlike Furrowfield, Brownbeard won't leave you there and if you want to return to IOA to build some more you can simpyl by talking to him at the dock, and go back and forth as you please (but except for sword, hammer, armor and shield you can't take items back and forth until Khrumbul-dun is completed.) You'll get the Scarlet Sands desert area upon completing the Khrumbul-dun island that the Hairy Hermit wants you to explore next. ![]() (Most people put their personal storage chests at the dock or Mountain Top Temple though to keep residents from dumping food and scavenger junk into them.) So for now you are restricted to keeping all your residents in the Green Gardens area. You can build on the beach or mountaintop temple areas, but you can never relocate residents to these areas so the buildings can't be used by them. How can I do that if there's so little space within the boundaries? Build a ceiling/floor on top of an existing building and build the room right on top. After the quest is finished there is a hint to do it for the others as well. There is a request from Lillian to build her a little house all for herself. How can I do that if there's so little space within the boundaries? Also, the snail monsters (Mauluscs) can and will lob spit balls at you while you're in the farm, if you're close enough to them to get ther attention (as well as ghosts attacking at night, or the random monster mobs from the north) you absolutely can be attacked while within the farms boundaries.Īh in that case I have a similar question as well (possible minor spoiler for OP so I hid some parts): The raised platforms make the Farm's usable area appear smaller than it actually can be. You've got a good 8 blocks or so on the south edge of Furrowfield Farm past the raised platforms - that s a significant amount of space. Once you pass out of the Farm, Malroth (and the dog) run to your side, and the base level indicator disappears, and often the music will change (depends on event) Originally posted by lilisaur:Dr Medic's answer is more precise than My Cat's.
